A través de esta página tendrás la feliz oportunidad de conocer -de a poquito y periódicamente- una hermosa historia, la historia de tu San Martín, ese San Martín que tanto amas y que tantas horas de tu vida vas dedicándole y que todavía -estoy seguro- le vas a dedicar.
En esta página conocerás nombres que no conocías, como el de Guillermo Reynoso, por ejemplo, aquel exquisito centre half catamarqueño que jugara en el San Lorenzo campeón del 59, aquel San Lorenzo de Sanfilippo. Vas a conocer nombres como el de Martín Blasco –el Mariscal- o el de Ricardo -el “tuerto”- Adet, aquel arquero admirado por propios y extraños y que jamás pudo jugar en Buenos Aires porque a los porteños se les ocurrió que no veía bien con un ojo, sin darse cuenta de que los que NO V E I A N eran ellos, ya que Ricardo sólo mostraba un "defecto": Un párpado caído, pero veía perfectamente. Y descubrirás nombres como el de Víctor Exequiel Pereyra, premiado varias veces por A.F.A. como “mejor jugador de partidos, o el de “Pipí” Salinas -el de la gran clase- o el de Federico Akemeier, el Caballero, o el de Juan Carlos “burro” Carol, el máximo “artillero” de la historia de San Martín.
Hay por lo menos cien nombres más pero –si seguimos nombrando- podríamos correr el riesgo de no nombrar a alguno de ellos. Pero, no desesperes, ya los irás conociendo, de a poquito, en nuestras ediciones periódicas.
Conocerás nombres de personalidades que contribuyeron también a la grandeza de San Martín, nombres como el de Mirkin -el grande- el de Fontenla, el de Barthaburu, el de García Soaje y tantos otros que, con sólo mencionarlos, nos hacen poner "la piel de gallina"
Te irás enterando, de a poquito, cómo fue evolucionando nuestro estadio hasta llegar a ser lo que es hoy: Un estadio "como la gente"
También conocerás detalles del Complejo de Cebil Redondo, conocido bajo el nombre de Complejo Ingeniero Natalio Mirkin.
Conocerás la historia del equipo Triple Campeón Invicto, también la de la consagración como Campeón de la República, Campeonato organizado por A.F.A. y ganado por San Martín en 1944 y en 1949. En otras palabras, conocerás toda una historia grande, la historia de ese "juguetito" que te ha hecho, te hace y te seguirá haciendo feliz: La Historia de TU San Martín de Tucumán.
Estoy seguro de que disfrutarás de esta página porque ha sido ideada por gente como vos, gente que ama tanto a su San Martín que llegaría a “sacrificar” momentos de su vida, momentos con la esposa e hijos, invertiría dinero, “perdería” su tiempo –en el buen sentido- con el único objetivo de construir la grandeza de SAN MARTÍN. Su única ilusión ha sido llenar el corazón de cada Sanmartiniano con “Orgullo, Alegría y Felicidad” Personalmente, no creo que esta rara sensación, este raro sentimiento, pueda ser entendido por gente que nunca ha ido a una cancha a presenciar un partido de fútbol. Ellos no aceptarían esta conducta, ni siquiera después de haber leído cientos de Tratados sobre Psicología.
Me temo que ni tu propia “vieja" llegaría a entenderte, y ¿ sabes por qué ? Porque no cualquier persona podría entender tan raro sentimiento, ya que el hincha de San Martín es “distinto”, sus sentimientos son distintos: Ser hincha de San Martín es todo un sentimiento, pero muy diferente, un Sentimiento Divino . . .
¿ Cómo más podríamos denominar este fenómeno?

WELCOME TO “YOUR” PAGE: SANTODELACIUDADELA
Today we want to offer all San Martín’s fans a warm welcome to our “page”, page known as SANTODELACIUDADELA.
You will surely enjoy this happy chance to know –little by little – an interesting story, the story of SAN MARTIN DE TUCUMAN, the same San Martín you actually came to love so much.
In this page you will go across names, which you had never heard before, such as the name of Guillermo Reynoso, for instance, that extraordinary “center half”, who played for San Lorenzo de Almagro, the historical Sanfilippo’s San Lorenzo. You will hear names such as Martín Blasco, the “Marshal”, or Ricardo Adet, a famous goal keeper who was admired by everybody, with no exception of any kind. He never played in Buenos Aires because people from there thought he was unable to see with one eye. However, it was they who could not see properly, because Adet had a little defect on his eyelid only, but –in spite of that fact- he could see perfectly. You will also hear names such as Víctor Exequiel Pereyra, a player praised by all Argentinean press, “Pipí” Salinas, a man of an admirable dribbling and definition. Besides, you will hear the name of Federico Akemeier, the gentleman, Juan Carlos Carol, the greatest scorer through our whole HISTORY.
There are at least a hundred more names but we might run the risk not to mention two or three of these names. We promise you, believe us, you’ll have the chance - when you “open” our page, YOUR page - to know all of them, little by little, day after day, game after game.
You will also hear names, such as MIRKIN, the “great”, or Fontenla, Barthaburu, García Soaje and so many others, who contributed to the greatness of our Institution. They were so great that, when I name them, it happens to give me goose pimples . . . !
You will be getting acquainted –step by step- about the evolution of our Stadium and the reasons why Ciudadela became the great stadium it is nowadays. You will as well know about our great Complex in Cebil Redondo, known under the name of Ingeniero Natalio Mirkin Complex.
You will also be shown details of our Triple Championship, conquered without being defeated not even once, and details about the Championships of the Republic, won in 1944 and 1949. What a History !!
In other words, you will know everything about this “little toy”, the toy which made you happy once in the past, a toy that is making you happy now, and, surely, will continue making you happy all over your life.
This History is the history of our dear San Martín, the history of your San Martín de Tucumán. I am sure you will enjoy this Page, because it has been thought by people like you, people who like San Martín so much that they would “sacrifice” moments of their lives, moments with their wives and children, invest money, “waste” time, with the only objective to build the greatness of San Martín. Their only hope has been to present every Sanmartiniano with a gift: “P r i d e, J o y and H a p p i n e s s” I do not think this unusual sensation, this unusual feeling might be understood by people who has never gone to watch a football game. They would not accept this behavior, not even after having read hundreds of books on Psychology.
I am afraid your own Mother would never understand you, do you know why? Because it is a feeling, hard to be understood, because a San Martín’s fan is unique, he is different and the same happens with his feeling, a Divine feeling. ¿How else might we call it?
